This course will give you training to prepare for the career of emergency dispatching. You’ll get information about the profession and an overview of what you will encounter on the job, as well as scenario based training.

Topics include:

Overview of the profession
Call taking
Law Enforcement Communication
Fire Communication
Emergency Medical Dispatching
Emergency Radios
Liability and Accountability
Crisis Intervention
Stress Management

Successful completion of this course prepares the student to take the National Communications Certification Exam, which is included in the price of the course and will be administered the last day of class.
