« back to classes page
The honey bees arrived on the earth millions of years before mankind appeared. Today, they are an important part of the environment in which we live. Come join in a honey bee adventure as this class explores the life of a honey bee colony. Bee veils will be provided as we visit the apiary (the fancy name for a beeyard). Bee history, bee biology, bee hives, bee language, and, of course, honey will all be covered in this class.
