Join the McHenry County Chess Club for weekly Thursday night open chess from 6 to 8 p.m. at McHenry County College. Everyone aged 10 and up are welcomed. Open chess is for beginners to experts. Players are welcome to bring their own chess boards but are not required to do so. Limited boards will be available for use. Open chess is a great way to connect with other chess enthusiasts, practice your playing skills, and learn from veteran chess players. Vending machines are available onsite for snacks.
