This course will guide you on your journey to becoming a royalty-earning, self-published author. Whether you're writing the next Great American Novel, sharing your expertise, or telling your family's story, you can publish it yourself—and reach readers worldwide.
Taught by a successful self-published author, this course covers how to produce both e-books and print books using Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and other platforms. You’ll learn about manuscript formatting, book cover design, editing tools, and publishing options. We’ll also explore important topics such as setting up accounts, using dashboards and sales reports, understanding copyrights, ISBNs, LCCNs, and AISNs. You’ll create a personalized self-publishing plan and learn how to put it into action. Students with a book in progress can develop it for publication, while newcomers will gain a solid understanding of the self-publishing industry. This is a self-paced course with direct communication with the instructor. After registering, you’ll receive an email from the instructor within two weeks.
