A young boy is fascinated by the skies above. Then WW!! happens. He volunteers for the Air Corps, dreaming of the sky and being a pilot. He is too young, and his mom says, "NO"! He studies the stars and goes to college to learn more. Finally, old enough he joins the service and his dream is to be a pilot. He excels, but The Army has other ideas. The boy's dreams are shattered, but stoically he says, "If that's what my country wants." What follows becomes one of the most dangerous tours of duty in WW!!
