Discover oil painting through the lens of Objective Abstraction. You will create your masterpiece from a still life arrangement which will explore dynamic spacial design and surface tension, resulting in a 16”x20” oil painting. In this two day class, you will begin by learning about the historical overview of Objective Abstraction and how it influenced the evolution of art from Cubism to Graffiti, followed by the use of charcoal to develop the composition of your work. On the second day, using minimal palette of oil paints, you will complete your masterpiece. All supplies included.
