McHenry County is home to a number of local breweries, including Kishwaukee Brewing in Woodstock. In this class, you’ll explore the history of beer, learn why craft beers are so popular, discuss the process of creating beer, and discover different styles of craft beer. You’ll also tour the brewery and learn about the brewing process, including safety, equipment, cleaning and sanitation, the purpose of the hot and cold side, and the importance of the right ingredients. A tasting of different styles is included. Must be age 21+.
